Our Beliefs

We believe in the mystery of salvation through Jesus Christ. God became human in Jesus; and his life, death and resurrection demonstrates God's redeeming love for all. Jesus is the hope of the world. The church is the body of Christ, an extension of Christ’s life and ministry in the world today.

The Trinity

We believe in the Triune God. God, who is one, is revealed in three distinct persons.; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and is the primary authority for our faith and practice.

Sacraments

The United Methodist Church recognizes two sacraments; baptism and communion. These two acts have a special place in the church because Jesus commanded and participated in them, and God and the Spirit were present and ordained both.
